Simple Name – no messing around?
SportsBetting.ag (formerly SportsBetting.com) may be a simple name, but it describes them well. These guys are the “no name brand” of the sports betting world, offering similar service as the flashier sportsbooks but at a better value per bet.
Sportsbook Bonuses and Promos (7/10)
SportsBetting.ag offers up to 25% bonus on each deposit, and they are offering a “Bonus for Life guarantee” wherein they provide users with a bonus on not just their first deposit, but on every reload they make. This does come with some fine print though, as the 25% is only available on deposits through Moneygram, WesternUnion, and bank wires. Those who would prefer to deposit with Visa or Mastercard only qualify for a 15% bonus. The “for life” deal is tempting, but a lot of books offer somewhere near a 10% reload bonus to compliment a much bigger initial deposit bonus. You just need to ask yourself – how many bets do you plan on losing?
Initial Deposit: Up to 25%, up to $900
Reload: Up to 25% (limited time promotion)
Gambler’s Insurance: none
Refer-a-Friend: 20%, up to $100
Casino: 100% slots bonus
Customer Service (8/10)
Their Antigua-based call centre is available 24/7 to answer any questions you might have about betting, depositing, or cashing out. They were helpful in helping out with their mobile app, even though I was calling them from the phone I was trying to use to access their site.
Sportsbook Features (9/10)
This is where the “better balue per bet” comes in. SportsBetting.ag prides itself on offering better payouts to winning bets. For example, early lines on football games are offered with less “juice” for the book. Baseball dime lines and NHL pucklines also offer more value than the average book. Aside from that, lines are offered on just about everything and a wide variety of betting options are available.
Additional Features (8/10)
A nice casino and a fairly minimal poker room are available to SportsBetting users, both with their own set of bonuses. There is also a racebook that gives back a 7% rebate on losses, which is a rare treat for race fans.
Deposits (6/10)
As was mentioned earlier, these guys definitely prefer not to take deposits via credit card, which is a shame because this is the easiest and fastest way to get money into a sportsbook account. I don’t want to knock points off in the deposit category just because the bonus isn’t as strong for credit card deposits, but aside from the bonuses I have had a few minor problems getting CC deposits through in time to play. However those were fairly last minute on my part and just bad luck. Overall I would recommend loading your account in advance, especially if you’re going to try MoneyGram or one of their preferred methods.
Payouts (7/10)
I’ve had a couple issues here, but overall SportsBetting.ag is fairly reliable at letting you cash out. Like depositing though, make sure you aren’t counting on getting your money in a big hurry.
Overall (8/10)
SportsBetting.ag is as advertised – if you want to bet on a lot of different sports and get better than average value on the lines, these guys deliver. If you don’t mind depositing with Moneygram, the deposit structure could work out for you, especially if you’re a horse bettor or want to play the occasional online slot machine.
