So far at this season’s competition, we have seen the competition of Group A, and Group B is coming to a close.
Group A was won by Heroic, who won five from five. This takes the Danish outfit straight to the quarter-finals.
In second and third place were Team Vitality and ENCE, who both qualify for the play-offs.
Before we move on to previewing the teams of Group C, let’s take a look at the latest group winner betting odds courtesy of BetUS.
ESL Pro League Group C Betting | ||
Natus Vincere | -162.5 | -162.5 |
FaZe | +350 | +330 |
mousesports | +500 | +450 |
BIG | +1000 | +1000 |
Evil Geniuses | +1800 | +1800 |
Fnatic | +2000 | +1800 |
The clear betting favorites to top Group C is Natus Vincere.
Top sportsbooks have Natus at -162.50 to win the group, and -10000 to qualify.
Second in the betting comes Faze Clan, they are +350 to top the group, and they are -200 to qualify.
The two teams meet in what promises to be the crunch match-up on Tuesday 31st.
Now let’s have a look at the teams.
Natus Vincere
Na’Vi, as Natus Vincere is also known, is a Ukrainian Esports team, who are Counter-Strike GO experts.
The CS:GO champions from IEM Cologne are -162.50 to continue their excellent recent form.
At the Cologne final in July, they defeated G2 Esports three matches to zero.
They will take some beating here, and are the huge odds on favorites to top Group C.
Faze Clan
The second favorite with the top sportsbooks is FaZe. The 29-times Esports champions are +350 to beat Na’Vi and top the table.
The first match on the schedule for FaZe is against Mousesports (Mouz) on Friday 27th August. They have the big clash with Na’Vi in the fifth and final group match on Tuesday 31st.
Mousesports
The German Esports club is one of the outsiders to win the group at +500.
Their involvement in the IEM Cologne tournament ended at the group stages, and the chances are this could happen again here.
The Partner Team gets their campaign underway on Friday against FaZe Clan.
BIG
Another German Counterstrike outfit, BIG is next in the betting at +1000. They get their campaign underway on Friday against Evil Geniuses.
In the recent Cologne competition, they won four from six in the group stages. That included wins over Virtus Pro and Team Liquid.
Evil Geniuses
The American outfit will be looking to improve and beat their odds when their campaign gets underway on Friday.
The Geniuses are massives outsiders to top Group C at +1800.
In Friday’s opener, they are +162.5 to beat BIG and lay down a marker.

Fnatic
The British-based Fnatic team brings up the rear in the group betting, they are +2000 to pull off a massive shock and top Group C.
A more realistic target for the Fnatic’s could be to finish in the top 3. That will prove difficult, they are +450 to get through to the play-offs.
Esports Betting Picks
The market to win the group looks like a three-team race with Natus Vincere, Faze Clan, and Mousesports the three teams in the running.
For my group winner betting pick, I’m going to play safe and stick with Natus Vincere.
Their match with main rivals Faze Clan is their last on the schedule, and they could already have the group won by then.
In betting to qualify I’m going to go for a small speculative bet using one of the excellent betting bonuses found on this site.
At odds of +275 I’m going for Evil Geniuses to qualify from the group.
The Geniuses have a huge opening match against BIG on Friday. Win that, and this pick has an excellent chance of coming home.

Betting on Esports is now a huge business. Be sure to check out our Esports betting page for more information.
Ten years ago if someone said in the future that there would be money lines offered on guys playing computer games, most people would have considered the person insane.
But that’s exactly what Esports is! And boy has it proved me wrong!
