Natus Vincere – known in eSports circles as Na’Vi – is the favourite to win the 2021 PGL Major and our choice as the best bet to win it. They have one of the great CS: GO players of all-time – S1mple, who is leading Na’Vi to a highly successful season in 2021.
Of course, S1mple is not the only reason Na’Vi ranks number one in the world (by a significant margin). Their overall team is talented across the board. They should have won three straight tournaments this year – but Gambit eSports pull off the upset in the Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI – Fall: CIS Finals.

Outside of that loss, no eSports team is playing better than Na’Vi. They should take that loss with them in the PGL Major and know what to do if they match up against Gambit again in the knockout stage. Safest pick to win it is Na’Vi.
FaZe is Undervalued at +1700
Fitting into the not a favourite and a significant underdog is FaZe Clan – who in our opinion is one of the best bets to win the 2021 PGL Major. FaZe is a talented team with four wins in their last five matches. It is a promising return for FaZe – who has not won a major event since the BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019.
With FaZe returning to form, they have a chance against any team in a best-of-three series. We saw it in previous tournaments – including a win against Na’Vi in the EPICENTER 2018. They have picked up some big wins lately, including two against Spirit (+2000 to win the tournament). They also played a tight 16:14 match against Na’Vi at the end of September.
The team feels settled going into the tournament (after some uncertainty earlier in the year). They looked more battle-tested as well – after fighting hard to qualify for the tournament. They should keep it up in the Challenger Stage – and make it into the playoffs (where anything can happen).
