- What: The International 11 (TI11) Western Europe Qualifier
- Date & Location: September 13 – September 17, 2022
- Location: Online
The regional qualifiers for The International 11, or TI11, have begun. 30 teams will make it out of the qualifying round of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). Those teams then head to Singapore for the Aegis of Champions tournament. The Group Stage of that event begins on October 15. The tourney ends with the Main Event on October 30 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The prize pool for this year is $10,256,789 (US.)
The prize pool for last year’s TI10 was much larger than this year’s TI11 event. In 2021, Team Spirit won the Grand Prize and took home $18.2 million. Second place went to PSG.LGD, who earned $5.2 million.

Team Secret
Ideally, Team Secret would have earned one of the 12 direct invites to the TI11 Group Stage, but they had a rough start to their year. With that, they need to earn their spot with a win in the Western European Qualifier.
It looks like things have come together for Team Secret. They finished second to PSG.LGD at the Riyadh Masters and took third place at ESL One Malaysia.
If they can keep playing well together and continue their momentum, Team Secret will be hard to beat in the Western European Qualifier.
Nigma Galaxy
Nigma Galaxy is one of the most talented teams competing today. All the members of the team have won The International before and with SumaiL joining Nigma Galaxy earlier this year, the team only got stronger.
Nigma Galaxy regrouped after it was relegated to Division II and the veteran club has bounced back and looks like it will be in the running for the top spot in the TI11 Western European Qualifier.
Experience is the biggest thing this team brings to the event.
Entity
Entity has 650 pro circuit points, which should have been enough to get them one of the 12 direct invites to the TI11 Group Stage. It didn’t. With that, Entity is going to have to battle its way to a win in the Western European Qualifier if it wants to make the trip to Singapore. They have a chance to get that win.
Entity had a solid showing at the Arlington Major and they finished in fifth at the Major ESL One Malaysia.
I expect Entity to have a bit of a chip on its shoulder going into this event, but I don’t know if that will be enough to elevate the team’s play.
Our pick
Team Secret is playing at the top of their game right now and I don’t think anyone will be able to shake them.
Pick: Team Secret to win The International 11 — TI11 — Western European Qualifier.
