Team Vitality has become a mainstay since its debut in competitive Counter-Strike in 2018. The French organization has invested heavily in star players, coaching staff, and analysts.

Vitality’s strongest asset is its map pool versatility. In a best-of-three series, when you can ban the opponent’s strongest maps, you will force some unfavorable matchups.
Vitality’s biggest weakness is maintaining focus and avoiding underestimating their lower-seeded opponents. Like when they were upset by Trace Esports during the Valorant Champions Tour in 2024.
They are favored for a reason; I’d wager they take home another trophy.
FURIA
The top threat to Vitality is FURIA. The Brazilian squad has steadily improved all season. Their aggressive style and fast-paced kills tend to overwhelm opponents.
They’re led by several players with exceptional aim. Their AWPer is one of the tournament’s most dangerous snipers. They’ve also expanded their map pool in recent months.

They’re no longer as vulnerable on certain maps and have reduced their weaknesses. As a result, their team chemistry is clicking.
FURIA upset top teams, winning 70% of their matches last month. They finished second after losing to Vitality in the IEM Krakow Finals.
Can FURIA continue to build off their impressive start to 2026? I’d take a chance on them at +350.
G2 Esports
The storied organization enters this tournament with +1100 odds, seemingly undervaluing their championship pedigree.
While inconsistency has plagued the team of late, alternating between stunning upsets and early exits, the organization’s strong infrastructure could help them right the ship.

The coaching staff has continually improved the roster. Player facilities and analyst support rival those of any other team. It’s been difficult for teams to prepare for them as they shuffle between multiple styles.
They need to maximize the blend of veteran leadership and young talent if they want any path to victory in this tournament. G2 could surprise at this event, but I’m not seeing it. I’d pass on them at this price.
FaZe Clan
The long shot I’m targeting is FaZe Clan for this tournament. They have one of the most talented rosters in the event. Perhaps some recent roster changes are the reason oddsmakers are pricing them at +2500 to win this tournament?
Faze’s firepower advantage can overwhelm opponents. They’ve run off a string of explosive playoff wins in the past. The organization’s legacy includes several major championships.
At +2500 odds, you’re betting on FaZe catching fire and stringing together a couple of upset victories. Perhaps I’m just falling for brand recognition with this team, but this price seems like a terrific value and one I’d be wagering on.
