Alex thrives in unpredictable situations. At Phillip Island, he ran inside the top five before a mechanical issue ended his race. At Sepang, with reduced competition and unpredictable weather potentially leveling the field, he could finally break through for his first premier-class victory.

Francesco Bagnaia
The two-time world champion returns to last year’s scene of a 17-lead-change battle with Jorge Martín. But this isn’t the same Bagnaia.
There appears to be a challenge.
Phillip Island was difficult—he was running 19th before crashing out. He hasn’t finished in the top eight in his last two races. For the first time since 2022, Ducati’s factory rider has dropped out of the championship’s top three, overtaken by Marco Bezzecchi’s current form.

Marco Bezzecchi

Sepang could be the perfect stage for Bezzecchi to cement his status as Ducati’s in-form rider. The satellite bike is singing, and Marco’s confidence is sky-high.
