NBA Game Of the Night – Blazers at Pacers

The Portland Trail Blazers want to show what they are made off as they take on the best record in the NBA, the Indiana Pacers, this Friday at 7 PM ET at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, in what should be a tremendous basketball contest.

trailblazers-pacersThe Blazers are 35-14 this season; they own the best offense in the game with 107.7 points per game average and the best rebound team in the NBA with 46.5 every night; they beat the Knicks on Wednesday 94-90 and look to do the same to Indiana.

LaMarcus Aldridge struggled against New York shooting 5 of 17 from the field, but Nicolas Batum had 20 points and 10 rebounds and took the team to their 17th win in 20 games against Eastern Conference rivals.

“I had the whole game to miss shots, so I felt like I was due some makes,” Aldridge said. “Law of averages have to catch up sooner or later. I had made one easy one, one tough one. So I felt like I was going to make it.”

The Pacers beat the Atlanta Hawks 89-85 on Tuesday and will enter this matchup on a three day rest.

“I don’t have to answer questions about it anymore, so that’s good,” Indiana coach Frank Vogel said about the fact that they couldn’t win in Atlanta. “We’ve had some struggles here, but it’s not anything we were losing sleep over.”

The NBA lines have the Pacers as 7point favorites over the Blazers, and the game total is at 197.5 points.
