NBA Thursday Night Betting – Thunder vs Timberwolves Preview

The OKC Thunder looks for the 13th win a row this Thursday when they visit the Target Center and the Minnesota Timberwolves at 7 PM ET.

The Thunder lost for the last time in November 23rd against the Boston Celtics; they have won 11 since, their last one against San Antonio on Monday (they have to visit Atlanta on Wednesday night).

“I don’t want to talk about it,” said Sergie Ibaka, who was the Thunder leading scorer against the Spurs. “A great win for us. We need that. It’s about a team win.”

“It was just another game on the list for us,” said Kevin Durant, who scored 19. “We really respect this team, we really knew it was going to be a tough game. It was good for us to get a win, but we’ve got to keep moving on”.

The Thunder scores 105.9 points a game and are virtually unstoppable when they get on a rhythm.

The Timberwolves are good at home only losing three of their 10 games played at the Target center, but they need a lot of stuff going their way if they want to beat OKC.

Minnesota lost 103-92 against Miami on Tuesday. “We were pretty active. What we take away from it is we’ve got to be more physical,” Kevin Love said. “I’m not saying we’re soft, but we definitely need to be more physical. And we are in stretches”.

“I like the way our guys battled,” Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman said. “We just have to respond.”
