NBA Playoffs Odds – Warriors at Clippers Game 2

The Golden State Warriors stole game one of the series against Los Angeles Clippers, and they intent to do the same this Monday when these two teams meet in game two, at 10:30 PM ET at the Staples Center.

warriors_clippers“A big way to start the series,” Warriors star Steph Curry said. “We’ve been resilient all year. We’re not going to quit.”

The Warriors benefited from a tremendous end of the third quarter and clutch plays at the end of the match. David Lee had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Klay Thompson defended Chris Paul the perfection.

“The pressure is all on them,” Thompson said. “They can’t afford to go down 0-2 and go on the road. It’s tough to come back down 0-2.

Game one had Blake Griffin mostly on the bench after he got in foul trouble early and couldn’t enter in a consistent game rhythm.

“We made mistakes,” Griffin said. “Some of us, myself included, maybe wanted it too much and came in with an expectation. We just need to relax. I kept putting myself in a hole. I got to do a better job.”

The Los Angeles Clippers is an 8 point favorite for game two, especially considering they can’t go into a 0-2 hole.  The game total was set at 211.5 points.

The Clippers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning SU record. The Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game.
