College Football Odds – Michigan State vs Oregon, Week 2

The Michigan State Spartans visiting the Oregon Ducks at the Autzen Stadium for the 2014 College Football week two might be the most intriguing game in the lineup this weekend; they will clash Saturday at 6:30 PM ET.

oregon_ducks2014The Michigan State Spartans visiting the Oregon Ducks at the Autzen Stadium for the 2014 College Football week two might be the most intriguing game in the lineup this weekend; they will clash Saturday at 6:30 PM ET.

Both teams won in the opening week, but I have this feeling the Spartans will be challenged by a Pac-12 powerhouse, and looking at their calendars, this game means most for Michigan State.

“This is an opportunity early in the season to see where we’re at as a program,” said head coach Mark Dantonio, who guided Michigan State to its first outright Big Ten title and Rose Bowl victory since the 1987 season. “Win or lose, we still have a lot of football games ahead of us, and we have to understand that that’s every bit as important as this one single game.”

For the Ducks is another opportunity to show their QB Marcus Mariota is the real deal, and their offensive pace is impossible to emulate in College Football.

“We are very excited. It poses a good challenge for us. It poses a good challenge for the entire team,” Mariota said. “They’re coming in as one of the best defenses in the country and any offense would love to face that challenge. It helps you see where you stack up.”

The College Football odds have Oregon listed as the favorite by 13 points, and the game total is at 56.5 points. The series is 1-1, but both times the spread was covered by the Ducks.
