Miami Hurricanes Look to Remain Hot Against Wake Forest

The Miami Hurricanes are possibly the hottest team in college basketball, having won 18 games, and they will try to keep victorious as they visit Wake Forest, Saturday at 1 PM ET.

In those 18 games, the Hurricanes smashed North Carolina twice and Duke one time.  They have done with spectacular basketball and a tremendous poise. Their last win was an ugly win against 54-50.

“Those game-winning shots, you never forget those the rest of your life,” coach Jim Larranaga said about his team. “He’ll be telling his friends when he’s my age, `I remember when I played against Virginia and scored the game-winning basket.’ And they’ll all think he’s exaggerating.”

“They’re doing a great job,” said Cavs coach Tony Bennett. “They’ve earned their victories, and they’re a hard team to play against. You’ve got to be very sound to beat them. We almost were — just a few possessions away.

Wake Forest has lost six of the last seven games, with that only win against Florida State, but if the Hurricanes relax like they did against Cavaliers, the Demon Deacons might have a shot.

The last game of Wake Forest was one point loss against Georgia Tech. The Demon s are 14-9 against the spread this season and 8-4 ATS when playing at home.

Keep in mind between these two teams, Miami and Wake Forest, the game total have gone UNDER the total in seven of their last 10 meetings.
