NCAAB Betting Odds – Pittsburgh at North Carolina

One of the most intriguing games in College Basketball this weekend features the Pittsburgh Panthers visiting the North Carolina Tar Heels, in an ACC Battle, this Saturday at 1 PM ET at Dean E. Smith Center.

NC-basketballPittsburgh needs to bounce back after a crushing loss on Wednesday when they allowed Syracuse leave their building undefeated after a last second half-court shot. The Panthers are now 20-5 in the season with 4 of those 5 losses coming against ACC opponents.

“We guarded it about as well as you could guard it,” Pitt coach Jamie Dixon said. “He made about a 40-footer. We did what we were supposed to do. If we had to do it again. … We did the right things.

“They were going to get a shot off. He made it, and he made a tough one. We knew he’d have the ball and would be the guy. We had two guys on him. He hit the shot. Our guys defended, and he hit a shot.”

North Carolina hasn’t played in a week; their game against Duke scheduled for Wednesday was postponed because a snow storm. The Tar Heels are 16-7 in the season with a 6-4 record against ACC rivals.
