Clint-Trickett-The Oklahoma Sooners look to stay undefeated as they visit Milan Puskar Stadium to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers this Saturday at 7:30 PM, in one of the most interesting games in the College Football week four.

Oklahoma is 3-0 straight up this season and 2-1 against the spread, but they have failed to cover in the three games they have played against West Virginia since 2008.

The Sooners won’t have RB Keith Ford on Saturday as he suffered a small fracture in his right leg.

“That’ll be a week-to-week,” said head coach Bob Stoops, who was already without highly touted incoming freshman running back Joe Mixon for the season after he was charged with misdemeanor assault and suspended. “That could be two weeks, three weeks; it’s always a little bit hard to tell, depending on how it heals, so we’ll just have to wait and see how that goes. For sure, he won’t be able to play this week.”

The Mountaineers have their star in the making in QB Clint Trickett who recorded 511 yards and four touchdowns last week in 40-37 victory over Maryland.

“(The Sooners) are a great team and have a high power offense,” Trickett told the school’s official website. “They have a great defense as well and are returning a lot of guys. They are a traditional powerhouse. They are Oklahoma, but I said the same thing with Alabama. There is no such thing as an unbeatable team.

“We just have to find whatever weaknesses they have, if there are any, and try to exploit them.”

The NCAAF week four odds listed Oklahoma as 8-point favorites on the road.
