stanford_washingtonThe Stanford Cardinal will try to get their third win of the season when they visit the Washington Huskies on Saturday, September 27th at Husky Stadium, at 4:15 PM ET.

Stanford (2-1) has won five of the last six meetings, but its only loss in that span was in 2012 in Seattle. For this game, the Cardinal is favorite to win this match and is listed with -8 and the game total is rated at 48.

The Huskies have won their four games this season and in the last three have done it by scoring at least 44 points in each. Quarterback Cyler Miles has thrown for 525 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions.

The team led by David Shaw is the best defense in the nation in yards (204.3) and points (4.3) allowed per game. Stanford has not accepted points in two of the three games they have played. In the loss to USC, they only accepted 13.

On offense, the Cardinal has quarterback Kevin Hogan, who has thrown for 705 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception while receiver Ty Montgomery has caught 22 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns.

No. 14 Stanford, who has won the Pac 12 title in the last two years, has at least one forced turnover in 40 of their last 42 games, but they have none against USC.

Despite their good offensive performance, the Huskies will struggle against Stanford’s defense and will suffer their first loss of the season.
