NCAAF Week 6 Lines – Washington at Stanford

The Stanford Cardinal can’t forget the defeat they suffered last season against the Washington Huskies; it was an unexpected loss that still haunts on them, but they will have a change for payback this weekend.  The game starts Saturday at 10:30 PM ET at Stanford Stadium.

stanford-washingtonStanford coach David Shaw thinks they have matured since the 17-13 loss against the Huskies last season.

“We’re older, wiser I think at different positions,” Shaw said. “The same guys I think are just better than they were a year ago. Just older and a year wiser, hopefully.”

The Huskies look to be 5-0 for the first time in 21 years.

“I go into team meetings on Monday mornings now, and I don’t feel like I have to pump up the team or pump up the game,” Huskies coach Steve Sarkisian said. “I think we have a unique, quiet confidence about us. It’s not arrogance. It’s not that way at all. It’s just a quiet confidence that I think our guys have a real sense of belief in one another.”

Washington is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Stanford, and 1-3-1 ATS in its last 5 games when playing on the road at Stanford Stadium.

The total set at 52.5 points for this meeting has gone UNDER in 7 of Washington’s last 9 games when playing Stanford.

The Huskies allow 10.8 points per games, which is the 4th best defensive mark in the nation.  The College Football lines have the Cardinal as 7.5 favorites.
