I bet you are already tired of hearing how Peyton Manning is so amazing and unstoppable; well, get ready, because he’ll do it against this weekend when the Broncos host the Eagles in a mismatch set to play at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, this Sunday at 4:25 PM ET.
Peyton Manning is on pace to break every record there is with his 12 touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season; plus, he will face the 29th ranked defense against the pass on Sunday, so you can expect the numbers to keep growing.
“We get to play with one of the greatest quarterbacks and football players to ever play the game,” Broncos tight end Julius Thomas said. “He’s great. There’s no other way to cut it up or slice it.”
“It’s a huge challenge,” Eagles coach Chip Kelly said. “He’s one of the all-time great quarterbacks in the history of the league, not just this season, he’s done it for such a long time. He prides himself on his preparation. I think if you’re a competitor, you’re looking forward to it.”
The Eagles have the best running team in the league, which records 209 yards every week as an average. They could use this weapon to slow Manning down, although the word slow and a Chip Kelly’s offense in the same sentence sounds crazy.
LeSean McCoy has an ankle injury, but he will be ready to play on Sunday. McCoy is by far the best weapon the Eagles have to keep this game close.
The NFL Betting odds have the Broncos as 10 point favorites. The game total is at 57.5.
