NFL Odds – Vikings vs Colts

Andrew Luck will have another shot to show what he is made off, this time against an easier defense, as the Indianapolis Colts face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at 1 PM ET at Lucas Oil stadium.

The NFL lines have the Colts as a home dog +1.5 and the game total is set at 44.5.

Andrew Luck didn’t look great against Bears in week 1 who finished with 309 passing yards and a touchdown, plus three interceptions in last Sunday’s 41-21 loss.

“That’s definitely the thing I thought about last night, this morning, after the film again, four turnovers,” said Luck, who was sacked three times. “You can’t have that, especially when all four of them are on you”.

Of course, the Vikings will try to pressure Luck with pressure, to see if the rookie will have a mistake or two. 2011 NFL sacks leader Jared Allen will be the key guy as he is a terrible matchup for any offensive line.

Also, keep in mind Austin Collie has been cleared to practice this week.

The job of the Colts on defense is to stop Adrian Paterson as he showed he still have power and speed, despite the injury in 2011. “My legs are loose. Seriously, I’m feeling really good. I’m ready to carry the load,” said Peterson, who ran 84 yards and two touchdowns in the victory against the Jaguars in week 1.

“I think we still have to be somewhat cautious,” said Frazier, a former Colts assistant. “Now Adrian won’t want to hear that, but we still have to keep a rotation going between he and (Luck’s former Stanford teammate) Toby (Gerhart)”.
