NFL Week 5 Thursday – Cardinals vs Rams Betting Preview

The Arizona Cardinals expose their undefeated record against a NFC West rival, the St. Louis Rams, this Thursday at 8:20 PM ET, broadcast by NFL Network.

The Cardinals escaped from a really difficult game against the Dolphins during the weekend, but despite the win, a lot of questions were raised after Sunday. “That’s how we do it,” Andre Roberts said. “I don’t know what it is about us. We have to take it down to the last moment of the game, but we’re winning and that’s all that matters”.

“It’s not luck, I can tell you that,” coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “It can’t be luck as many times as we’ve been successful with that”.

“Fortunately for us, the overtime thing continues to work for us,” Whisenhunt said. “It wasn’t pretty. We’ve got a lot of things we’ve got to correct, but there’s a lot of fight in our team. To be able to hang in there, make some plays at the end and win the game, it goes a long way to building confidence in what you can do”.

Arizona is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games, but they are not the same team away from home as they have a 3-13 SU in its last 16 games on the road.

The Rams barely beat the Seahawks on Sunday, but they added their second win of the season.

“Right now, our kicker is the MVP of the season,” running back Steven Jackson said. “Pretty much, all we’ve got to do is get across the 50-yard line and we’re in his range”.

St. Louis is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Arizona.
