The Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers will battle one more time this Wednesday as they meet for a winner takes all game 7, at the Madison Square Garden at 7 PM ET.

The Flyers won game six with a 5-2 score as Wayne Simmonds scored a couple of goals for the cause.  “We’re not ready to go home yet,” Simmonds said. We knew the situation. You’ve got to get pumped up for games like this.”

The Rangers felt like nothing was right for them in game six. They need to regroup and try against at home this Wednesday.

“It was one of those nights where we just couldn’t execute,” Rangers center Brad Richards said. “This team is not going to be thinking about what happened tonight. It’s over once we get on the train. You have to move on quick.”

NY Rangers are 15-23 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record this season. The Rangers are 14-5 against the spread versus Philadelphia over the last 3 seasons. Nine of 17 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons

“If we win Game 7, it’s going to feel even more special because it’s over there,” Claude Giroux said.

“I already started thinking about (Game 7),” Rangers Henrik Lundqvist said. “You don’t want to analyze this too much. We have a Game 7 at home.”

The winner of the series will face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the next round.
