ghana_usaTeam USA is ready to take the next step in soccer, but they need to show it to the planet this Monday June 16 when they take on Ghana at the Das Dunas stadium, in Natal, at 6 PM ET, in activity of group G in the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

Coach Jürgen Klinsmann was hired to give the team new hope they can be one of the best in the world; now team USA is along Ghana, Portugal and Germany in a zone that will test how good they really are.

“I think for us now, talking about winning a World Cup is just not realistic,” Klinsmann said. “First we’ve got to make it through the group. So let’s stay with our feet on the ground and say let’s get that group first done, and then the sky is the limit. But a half a year before and even today before the World Cup starts, to say that we should win the World Cup is just not realistic.”

Ghana beat team USA twice in the World Cup, back in 2006 and in 2010; both times by a 2-1 result.

“The United States have got a very good team,” Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiahacknowledged. ‘If you look at the last three games they played, they’ve won almost every game and that proves that they are a very good side. It is not going to be easy.”

The World Cup odds for this game rated team USA’s victory +225 and Ghana’s +162 in the money line; the draw is at +220.
