Leicester (+375) at Arsenal (-150), Draw (+280)
Manager Claudio Ranieri and his amazing Leicester City squad will have the chance to increase their lead at the top of the EPL table when they visit second-place Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday (7:00 AM Eastern).
Leicester’s momentum has been beyond impressive this season and, after 25 fixtures, they lead the Premier League table with 53 points, five ahead of both Tottenham and Arsenal.
The Foxes were expected to come back to reality last weekend as they paid a visit to then-second place Man City, but they kept right on rolling with a decisive 3-1 road win over the Citizens. That followed on the heels of victories over Stoke City (3-0) and Liverpool (2-0), and sent a clear message that this team is here to stay.
Facing Arsenal at the Emirates is never an easy task, but Leicester have been excellent away from home all year, going 8-4-1 for an EPL-best 28 points on the road, and the Gunners haven’t actually been lights out on their home turf (7-3-2).
Arsenal ought to be closer to Leicester in the standings, but keep leaving points on the pitch in winnable games. They managed to beat Bournemouth (0-2) last Sunday, picking up their first victory in the last five fixtures.
In their first meeting with Leicester this season, the Gunners left with a 5-2 win on the road, giving them three wins in the last five head-to-head. Jamie Vardy scored twice for the home team, while Chilean Alexis Sanchez had a hat-trick for Arsenal.
Given how the team’s have played of late, though, the Foxes appear poised for payback. Look for them to pull out a point in a tough road game.
Pick: Draw (+280).
