MLB Odds Giants at Reds On Tuesday Night

The San Francisco Giants have struggled completely in the second half of the season, and things won’t get any easier this Tuesday when they meet the Cincinnati Reds, for the second time in a four game series.Β  Tim Lincecum for the Giants and Homer Bailey for the Reds are listed for Tuesday night game.

Tim LINCECUMThe Giants have lost nine of the last 11 games, including a horrible defeat against Cincinnati on Monday night.

Lincecum has struggled this season and most people think he’s could have a better use if he starts playing as a reliever.

β€œIt’s not like I don’t think ahead,” he said. β€œI think ahead about a lot of things in my life. I just don’t think ahead in that way. … I’m more a here-and-now kind of guy. We’re in a fun division. It seems someone different is on top every year, and we’re right there. I’ll play this season to its end and try to see what happens.”

Lincecum is 4-8 this season with a 4.64.

The Reds have a better record than the Giants but have also had problems recently.Β  They are 4-8 this over the last 12 games.

Homer Bailey can’t brag about his record either; he’s 4-6 this season with a 3.88 ERA. At his best, the Cincinnati Reds right-handΒer can be breathtaking, but usually drives most people crazy because he can’t get the easiest deals done.

The Reds are -166 favorites for this Tuesday matchup in the moneyline, and the Giants are listed +150.
