After ending a 32-year championship drought with a 4-2 series win over the Tampa Bay Rays in this year’s Fall Classic, the Los Angeles Dodgers are +425 betting favorites to win back-to-back championships next October.
While we can all only hope that we’ll be in the ninth-inning of the pandemic by the time pitchers and catchers report for spring training, here’s an early look at the World Series odds for every MLB club.

FALL CLASSIC FAVORITES
The Dodgers (+425) have now won eight-consecutive division titles after finishing the 2020 season with the highest win percentage by any team since 1954. Considering 2018 AL MVP Mookie Betts, 2019 NL MVP Cody Bellinger and 2020 World Series MVP Cody Bellinger are only 28, 25, and 26, respectively, Los Angeles is in good shape to become the first baseball team to repeat as champions since the Bronx Bombers won three-in-a-row from 1998 to 2000.
Speaking of the Yankees (+650), they will need to bring in another starter or two in free agency in order to end their 11-year title drought, but their impressive lineup of sluggers should return intact in 2021.

Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres (+800) should continue their ascent next season. San Diego has plenty of cap space and top prospect Mackenzie Gore should form a dynamite 1-2-3 rotation with trade-deadline acquisition Mike Clevinger and Dinelson Lamet.
The Rays (+1000) could add MLB’s consensus No. 1 prospect, shortstop Wander Franco, to their AL champion-quality roster, but will the club have any faith in manager Kevin Cash after he pulled Blake Snell in the 6th and cost his team a shot at the title?
TONY LA RUSSA LIVES!
In a surprise move, the White Sox (+1600) hired 76-year-old Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa last week. Returning to the dugout for the first time since winning his third championship in 2011 with the Cardinals, it will be fascinating to see how La Russa mixes with a team loaded with young stars.
With billionaire Steve Cohen now holding the purse strings, the Mets look like a steal at +3300 considering they could be major players in free agency.

Finally, how ’bout those Blue Jays (+5000)? With an impressive lineup built around sons-of-former-pros core (Cavan Biggio, Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr.), Toronto could take another step forward in 2021 if they’re able to add some arms in the offseason.
