Homer+BaileyTwo teams with winning records clash this Tuesday night as the Cincinnati Reds take on the Milwaukee Brewers at the Miller Park, at 8:10 PM ET, in the second of a three-game mini-series.

The Reds lost the first-game 5-2 and will have pitcher Homer Bailey on the mountain with an 8-5 record and a 4.21 ERA to try to even the series.  Cincinnati is 51-48 this season with a 24-27 record away from home.

“There were some things that if they would have happened slightly different, they could have changed the outcome of the game,” manager Bryan Price said about the loss on Monday. “But, we didn’t earn a win today.”

For Milwaukee, Jimmy Nelson will take the mountain with a 1-1 record (5.40 ERA); on his last outing, he allowed four runs in 1/3 innings, and the Brewers lost 10-2 against the St. Louis Cardinals.

“It’s very frustrating. That’s all on me,” Nelson told MLB’s official website. “Three things I didn’t do: I didn’t get ahead of hitters, I fell behind a lot of guys; I didn’t execute my pitches, left too many balls up and I know when that happens, no matter what level you’re at, you’re going to get hit.”

The MLB Betting odds listed Cincinnati +109 to win the game, and Milwaukee is -119; the run total for this one is at 8. Take into consideration the last four games in the series between these two-ball clubs have gone UNDER the total.
