Reigning champion Marc Marquez is coming into the season recovering from shoulder surgery sustained in Indonesia last October. Despite being unable to finish last season, the wounded Marquez is still the favorite.
The 2026 MotoGP season marks the final year of the current 1000cc regulations. There will be 22 races spanning five continents from March to November. Brazil returns to the calendar for the first time in over two decades. The Goiânia circuit has been fully renovated to host the race.
Staying in the Marquez family, Alex is hoping to carry the momentum from his career-best runner-up finish last year. Following Alex on the odds board is teammate Pecco Bagnaia. Marco Bezzecchi topped timesheets with the fastest single lap and race simulation.
We also can’t overlook 2024 world champion Jorge Martin, who has shown improved comfort on the RS-GP. Pedro Acosta continues his rise at KTM alongside the experienced Brad Binder. The wild card is rookie Toprak Razgatlıoğlu at Pramac Yamaha.
Razgatlıoğlu is a three-time WorldSBK champion. Finally, we have Moto2 champion Diogo Moreira stepping up to the premier class with LCR Honda.
Thailand gets things rolling on March 1st, and this season is shaping up to be unpredictable.

Marc Marquez
Marc Marquez is priced at an overwhelming -335 to win his eighth premier class title. -335 indicates an implied probability of nearly 77%. He was dominant last season, winning nearly 70% of the races he started. He was able to claim last season’s championship with five races to spare.
Marquez’s seventh title tied him with Valentino Rossi in the all-time standings. Only Giacomo Agostini, with eight titles, has more. The biggest question mark Marquez is facing is the shoulder injury he suffered last season.

He’s performed well on his factory Ducati in pre-season testing. That being said, the expectations have been ratcheted up. Can he hold off the rest of the challengers on the grid?
I would not bet on Marquez to win this at this price. It feels way too expensive, and you may be able to find better value on Marquez later on in the season.
Alex Marquez
Alex Marquez may be the rider who holds the key to defeating his brother. This is the first time he’s entered the season as a legitimate title contender. He won three times last season: Jerez, Barcelona, and Malaysia. He even beat Marc in a straight fight in Catalonia. Add in another 24 podium finishes, and we may be underestimating Alex coming into 2026.

His performance was rewarded, and he was promoted and is now riding a factory-spec Ducati GP26. For the first time, a Gresini rider has the same equipment as the works team. Alex set the fastest lap of the entire Sepang pre-season test in early February.
Former champion Jorge Lorenzo was impressed. He stated the pace surprised everyone in the paddock. This price of +600 feels like a steal. I would absolutely take a chance on Alex wrestling the title away from his brother this season.
Marco Bezzecchi
Now, let’s discuss the biggest non-Ducati threat to win this title. Marco Bezzecchi closed out 2025 with back-to-back wins in Portugal and Valencia. He won six races across his Grand Prix and Sprint races in his first year with Aprilia. Those strong performances led to a runner-up finish in the constructors’ standings for the first time.
Despite finishing the season well, his slow start cost him last year. He’s been tearing it up in pre-season testing. At Buriram, he had the fastest single lap and the strongest race simulation. Even Marc Marquez has acknowledged Bezzecchi will be in the mix for title contention this year.

This value is similar to Alex Marquez’s price. Basically, betting on anyone else except Marc Marquez winning. At +600, it’s too much value to turn down. I’d bet on Bezzecchi winning his first World Championship at this price.
Pedro Acosta
Many in the paddock see Acosta as the main outsider to watch for 2026. At just 21, he’s entering his third premier class season with KTM. He finished fourth in 2025, with ten podiums despite inferior machinery. No KTM rider has ever finished higher than fourth in the MotoGP era. Acosta was better than teammate Brad Binder in every single qualifying session last season.
KTM has not won a Grand Prix since Thailand in 2022. However, Acosta’s impressive form has already put him on Ducati’s radar for 2027. He has admitted that Ducati and Aprilia hold an advantage right now, but he is very comfortable on the RC16.

At +1600, it’s tempting to take a shot on Acosta, but I get the feeling he’s prioritizing a move to Ducati instead of trying to win a World Championship. I’d pass on Acosta.
Jorge Martin
The 2024 world champion endured a nightmare first season at Aprilia, racing just seven rounds. Multiple injuries required two surgeries over the winter break. He missed the entire Sepang test and only returned to the bike at Buriram.

Martin admits he is still two to three tenths off the pace of the leaders. Despite the setbacks, Martin says the RS-GP suits his natural riding style. This price is screaming at you if you’re searching for value.
A 33-1 ticket on Martin feels like a very solid investment. I’d absolutely make this bet.
