This Sunday is the 19th race of the 2022 Cup Series season, and with yet another shock winner last weekend, you will no doubt want to know what our free NASCAR betting picks are for the Quaker State 400.
— Quaker State (@QuakerState) July 3, 2022
Tyler Reddick was the name selected out of the hat for Kwik Trip 250 at Road America. And while that might sound disrespectful to what was Reddick’s first-ever NASCAR Cup Series win, it’s not meant to be. It’s the fact that there have been so many different winners on the circuit this season, that it appears they are just randomly pulled out of a hat.
So what will it be this weekend? Another random winner, or will one of the favorites finally win a race? Well, if you look at the latest odds on the Quaker State 400, you will see there is no outstanding favorite from the best NASCAR betting sites..
Who Is Betting Favorite For Quaker State 400?
While they have Chase Elliott as their outright +540 favorite to win the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series, XBet is stuck on joint favorites for the Quaker State 400. Both Ryan Blaney and Elliott are +1000, and they are closely followed by Ross Chastain at +1100, with Denny Hamlin and William Byron both on +1200.

- Race; Quaker State 400 Presented By Walmart
- Where; Atlanta Motor Speedway, Atlanta, Georgia
- When; Sunday, July 10th, 2022
- Time; 3 pm ET
The race is 260 laps of the 1.54-mile quad-oval circuit. That works out at just over 644 km. Last year’s winner was Kurt Busch, who also led the most laps. Pole Position went to Chase Elliott.
This is the second race to be held at the Atlanta circuit this season. In the Folds of Honor QuikTrip held here in March, William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports was the winning driver.
What Happened At Road America Last Weekend?
We’ve already mentioned that Tyler Reddick took the chequered flag for the first time in his NASCAR Cup Series career, but what we didn’t mention was that Chase Elliott backed up his win the previous week with an impressive second place behind Reddick.
The second-place finish saw Elliott made outright Cup Series winner favorite ahead of his teammate Kyle Larson. Elliott is also still the points leader at the top of the Cup Series driver’s table with 624 points.
Elliott’s aforementioned teammate, 2021 Driver’s Champion, Kyle Larson finished third, with Ross Chastain in fourth and Daniel Suarez in the fifth position.
The race at Road America was yet another good trip for the ever-improving Trackhouse Racing. Having two drivers inside the top 5 position is a great achievement, and the fourth place achieved by Chastain was his ninth top 5 finish this season – he has more than any other driver!
Quaker State 400 Betting Picks
So what about this Sunday then? What are the best value NASCAR picks, and who do we think will win the Quaker State 400?
Chase Elliott +1200
With a second and a first in his last two outings, the form of Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports can’t be ignored. We are now coming into the business end of the season, and this is when the cream is supposed to rise to the top.
Elliott has probably been the best driver on the circuit this season. His points total says this, although I get it that Chastain fans may argue their guy has been more consistent.
Nevertheless, Chase Elliott is the best driver for me. So therefore at the odds on offer for Elliott this weekend I have to make him my first pick.

Christopher Bell +2000
I’m sticking by Bell, his day will come. In this upside-down and topsy turvy season, Christopher Bell is in with a shout of his maiden win. It’s coming guys, I’m telling you. Keep the faith.
At +2000, Christopher Bell can be covered with a small wager at minimal risk.
Daniel Suarez +2000
Another guy who is having his breakthrough season is Daniel Suarez. As we alluded to above, his Trackhouse racing team is having an outstanding season, and Suarez achieved his maiden Cup Series win at Sonoma earlier this season.
Suarez finished fifth last weekend (his fourth top 5 finish this year), so is in good form, and at +2000 (like Bell), Suarez is worth a small wager.
