New Hampshire has been and gone, and now this weekend the NASCAR roadshow heads to Pocono for the M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400, and here we give you our free NASCAR betting picks.
This is race 21 of an enthralling season. A season that saw the fourteenth different winner of a race last week, when Christopher Bell finally stood on top of the podium.
This weekend’s race is at the Pocono Raceway, with the green flag at 3 pm ET, on Sunday, July 24th. The course sits in the Pocono mountain range in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, and is a 2.5-mile-long asphalt track, also known as the Tricky Triangle due to its unusual triangular-shaped oval layout.

Last year’s race was known as the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 and was won by Kyle Busch. This might go some way to explaining why he’s favorite to win this year’s version on Sunday.
Before we move on to the betting and our NASCAR picks, let’s take a look at what happened last week. This also gives us form to go on, heading into Sunday’s race.
What Happened Last Week?
We finally got our win for Christopher Bell, a nice +1400 winning pick! Bell got to stand on the top of the podium for the first time in his NASCAR Cup Series career after beating championship leader and favorite Chase Elliott into second place in the Ambetter 301 at New Hampshire.

Bubba Wallace took third place, with Martin Truex Jr taking fourth place, ensuring that three of the top four cars were all Toyotas. It was another bad day at the office for defending Cup Series champion, Kyle Larson, who could only manage 14th place in his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.
NASCAR Cup Series Winner Betting
Chase Elliott has been the standout driver, and this is reflected in the latest betting to be the Cup Series Champion driver this season.
The best NASCAR betting sites make Chase Elliott the +400 favorite to add the 2022 Drivers Championship to the one he won back in 2020.
Despite having a poor season, certainly, when you compare it to last year, Kyle Larson is second in the betting at +700. The current champion seems to be slipping further behind teammate Chase Elliott every week. Ross Chastain sits on +750, with Ryan Blaney next at +800.
Who is the Favourite to win M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400?
As we mentioned earlier, Kyle Busch is the +700 betting favorite to win the M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400. In his last six races at this course, Busch has five top ten finishes, four of which were in the top five, with two of them victories. This course suits him and is why he is the favorite on Sunday.

|Martin Truex Jr||+1000|
Elsewhere in the betting, and it’s a tight call after Busch, with Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Larson all at +800, depending on which of the best-rated sportsbooks you use.
The trio is just ahead of Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney, Martin Truex Jr, and Kevin Harvick, who all sit on +1000.
M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 Betting Picks
Now it’s time for our NASCAR betting picks for the M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400. Joe Gibbs Racing drivers have had plenty of good results here over recent years, so it’s obvious that we need to start with them.
Christopher Bell to go back-to-back
Fresh from his first Cup Series win last Sunday, Bell is +1500 to go back-to-back. He is also +400 for a top 3 finish and +200 for a top 5 finish.
Bell has been a consistent performer this year with five top 5s and eleven top 10s to his name.
I’m tempted to back Bell to win again. At the very least, I’m making Christopher Bell to finish in the top 3 my first NASCAR betting pick.
I could also wager on Bell to win the race outright yet. At +1500, he’s worth a small risk.
Kyle Busch – Can his Pocono record see him win again?
I’m also going for Kyle Busch this weekend. He has one Cup Series win to his name this season, along with six top 5 and eleven top 10 finishes.
I’m not convinced he will win, and I don’t like the odds of +200 to finish in the top 3, or +100 for a top 5 finish. But with a bit of uncertainty, I suppose the top 3 finish at +200 is the only pick.
Kevin Harwick – Ever Improving Harwick worth a Wager
Finally, I’m taking a look at Kevin Harwick of Stewart-Haas Racing. Harwick hasn’t won yet this season but has five top 5s and eleven top 10s to his name this season.
Harvick is a driver who is steadily and quietly improving every week. He is up to 9th in the table, and although he has only led for 13 laps this season, he has shown enough in recent weeks to suggest he can become the 15th different winner of a Cup Series race this season.
