- What: 2026 Pennzoil 400
- When: Sunday, March 15th, 2026
- Where: Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube rolls into Las Vegas this weekend. The 1.5-mile tri-oval at Las Vegas Motor Speedway awaits the Cup Series field. This intermediate track features 20 degrees of banking in the turns.
Last week, Ryan Blaney was able to end the winning streak that Tyler Reddick and his 23XI Racing team were on to start the season. Blaney is second in points, right behind Blaney. Bubba Wallace is running third in the standings and hopes that some consistency translates into a strong showing in Las Vegas.
Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell round out the top contenders this weekend. While Kyle Larson, Shane Van Gisbergen, Michael McDowell, and Chris Buescher loom as dark horses, one could surprise on Sunday.
Josh Berry had his first career win at this track last year. Expect a fast, strategic battle under the desert sun.

2026 Pennzoil 400 Odds
Kyle Larson
Larson knows this track well. His first win with Hendrick Motorsports came at LVMS back in March 2021. He knows how to get around the 1.5 mile layout better than most. The two-time champion (2021, 2025) is a 32-time Cup race winner with elite talent on intermediate ovals.
He’s had a slow start to his season. Larson sits in 10th place with zero wins through four races this year. He admitted after Phoenix that Hendrick is still adjusting to the new Chevrolet body and 750-horsepower package.
Kyle Larson is the heavy favorite for the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas, a mile-and-a-half cookie-cutter track similar to Kansas and Homestead-Miami where he has strong recent results. He leads key stats including fastest laps and driver rating over the last four races at LVMS.

That being said, the results seem to be improving. Started out 16th, 21st, 6th and 3rd place finishes. Larson’s ability to manage tire wear over long runs is among the best in the garage. His reputation is built on grit and resilience.
That said, I’m passing on Larson at this price.
Ryan Blaney
Ryan Blaney rides into Las Vegas with serious momentum after his Phoenix win last Sunday. He overcame two pit road penalties and rallied from the back of the field. That kind of resilience is what makes Blaney so tough at intermediate tracks. His crew chief, Jonathan Hassler, ended up making a late tire call to seal the victory.
Blaney is now second in points, trailing Reddick by 60 points. His Phoenix win was his 18th career Cup Series win and second straight at that track. Team Penske has an excellent track record in Las Vegas. Teammate Joey Logano owns four career wins at LVMS, most of any driver.

Blaney himself has 19 career Cup starts at Las Vegas with a best finish of third. He has historically struggled here. He has crashed in practice on his most recent two visits. However, if Hassler and the pit crew stay clean, Blaney has everything he needs on Sunday.
I’d wager on him at +900 to win this race.
Tyler Reddick
The points leaders has been the story of the season so far. Reddick became the first driver in Cup Series history to win the first three races of a season. He won the Daytona 500, AutoTrader 400, and the Circuit of the Americas race before finishing eighth at Phoenix.
Reddick owns a pole and six top 10 finishes in 12 career starts at Las Vegas. His most recent Vegas result was a fifth-place finish. Holding a massive 60-point lead over Blaney, can Reddick return to Victory Lane?

Co-owner Michael Jordan has been trackside supporting the team’s historic run this year. Reddick spent the offseason working to shore up his weaknesses at certain track types. Oddsmakers pricing him at +900 feels like a mistake to exploit.
I’d wager on Reddick winning this race at +1000.
Bubba Wallace
Taking a look at some dark horses leads us to Bubba Wallace. He’s been one of the most consistent drivers in the Cup Series this season. He sits third in the standings with finishes of 10th, 8th, 11th, and 6th through four races. His average finish of 8.75 is among the best in the entire garage.
His most recent win came at the 2025 Brickyard 400. Wallace has admitted he feels a bit left out of the spotlight surrounding teammate Reddick’s historic start.

Could that chip on his shoulder fuel a breakout performance this weekend? At +2500, it’s difficult to turn down the value being offered here. I’d wager on Wallage getting his first victory of 2026.
