Loudon in New Hampshire is the venue for the next race on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit. This is the 20th race of what is an enthralling NASCAR Cup Series season, so let’s see if we can get some winners with our free Ambetter 301 betting picks.
There was a shock winner here last season with Aric Almirola winning what was then called the Foxwoods Casino Resort 301. So with a new sponsor in town this year, will we also see a different winner when the drivers get going in the Ambetter 301 this weekend?
What Happened At the Quaker State 400 Last Week?
Before we move on, let’s take a look back at what happened last week, in what could have been a pivotal week in the 2022 Cup Series Championship.
Chase Elliott took control of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series at the Quaker State 400 race. The Hendrick Motorsports driver claimed his third win of the season, and in doing so, became the first driver this year to stand on top of the podium three times.

Elliott’s third win also saw his odds to be the 2022 Cup Series champion cut to just +450, the lowest it has been all year. This shift in odds also puts clear daylight between Elliott and his teammate, the pre-season betting favorite, Kyle Larson. Larson is now down at +600, just holding off Ross Chastain who is +650.
Larson’s form has fallen off a cliff this season and the defending champion is looking like a shadow of the driver he was last season. It’s hard to blame the car, as teammate Chase Elliott is driving for the same team, and he isn’t doing too badly!
For the record, Ross Chastain finished second at Atlanta Motor Speedway last week, his tenth top 5 finish of the season. Larson finished down in a disappointing 13th place.
Who is the Favorite to win Ambetter 301?
In the betting this week we have co-favorites with BetOnline. Both Kyle Busch and Ryan Blaney lead the way, with the top sportsbook pricing them both at +650.

|Martin Truex Jr||+800|
This is Blaney’s lowest opening price this season. Seeing him this short may come as a shock as he hasn’t yet won this year, but when you look at his stats you see he has finished inside the top 5 twice in the last three years at this circuit, and also finished 7th four years ago. Put simply, this venue suits Blaney and Ford, with the constructor winning the last four races at this circuit.
Blaney and Busch are closely followed in the betting by Joey Logano at +700 and Martin Truex Jr at +800. Denny Hamlin (+850) and Ross Chastain (+850) are expected to be competitive, but the Hendrick Motorsports duo of Chase Elliott (+1000) and Kyle Larson (+1200) are looked upon as outsiders by the best NASCAR betting sites this weekend.

The ‘Magic Mile’ as it’s also known has been hosting NASCAR races since the 90s, and although not one of the most spectacular courses on the circuit, it is one of the better known and more established.

Ambetter 301 Betting Picks
With the best NASCAR betting sites seemingly writing off the chances of the Hendrick duo of Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson, they are both attractive prices this weekend.
Elliott has been the form driver all season and has come on strong again in recent weeks. Should we be opposing the best rated sportsbooks and going with the in-form Elliott to win his fourth race this season? Well, I am!
At +1000, I’m having a small wager on Chase Elliott and making him my first betting pick.
Elsewhere, and I’m sticking with my man Christopher Bell. He’s going to win this season, I’m convinced of it. So at +1400, I’m also having a small wager on Joe Gibbs Racing man.
Finally, a Ford driver – I have to go for one in this weekend’s NASCAR picks. I’m going for Ryan Blaney. Yes, he’s short, probably too short if truth be told. But despite him not winning a Cup Series race this season, he is second in the points table and has been a consistent performer all year.
Only Ross Chastain (10) has had more Top 5 finishes than Blaney (7) has. The Team Penske driver is due a win and why not this week.
At +650, Blaney is my final betting pick for the Ambetter 301.
