Located in the tiny town of Plymouth, Wisconsin — which is slab down in the middle between Milwaukee and Green Bay — the Road America track has stood since 1956. It hosted its first and only NASCAR Cup event the following year, before being shunned up until now. Though, NASCAR has used the venue for several Xfinity Series competitions.

As hinted in the name, Wisconsin is a road course. Sonoma Raceway and Watkins Glen International have long been NASCAR’s go-to road tracks, however, it added a slew of new ones to the rotation in 2021 to breathe life into the product. Road America will become the longest track in the entire Cup Series schedule at 4.048 miles long.
