In the team’s next game, which also took place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the Nets fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 112-102. Brooklyn faces the slumping San Antonio Spurs tonight at the AT&T Center in Texas.

Brooklyn Nets breakdown

The Nets need players like Seth Curry to step up with Durant out of the lineup. San Antonio Spurs breakdown
The San Antonio Spurs are struggling through the 2023 NBA season. The team made the play-in for the 2022 NBA playoffs with a 34-48 record, but they don’t look like they will make it that far this year. The best the Spurs have played this year are two runs of three-straight wins. The first of those stretches came in games two through four of the 2023 NBA season. They then won three straight in early December. San Antonio is on a five-game losing skid and have a 2-8 record in their past 10 outings.
Keldon Johnson leads the Spurs in scoring with 21.1 points per game. The club’s second-highest scorer, Devin Vassell, is injured and could be out until after the All-Star break. No other Spurs player is averaging more than 13.8 points per game that Tre Jones is scoring.
