A huge regular season game will be play this Thursday ay 8 PM ET at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, when the Los Angeles Clippers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Western Conference clash.
The Thunder are 4-0 at home this season with a 7-3 record overall; they beat the Denver Nuggets 115-113 in their last outing on Monday and will be fresh to play the Clippers.
“It’s tough. We can’t continue to do that and put pressure on ourselves. We’ve got to start the game better. Most of that is my fault,” Russell Westbrook said about him and Kevin Durant scoring 30 points every night.
The Clippers beat the Thunder a week ago 111-103 in Los Angeles. Durant scored 33 points, but that wasn’t enough.
“They just beat us,” Durant said. “We’ve got to finish the game out. No excuses, no matter who’s out there. Of course, we’d rather have Serge out there, but it didn’t happen like that. We still had a chance to win the game.”
The series has a little of bad blood on it as Serge Ibaka and Matt Barnes were ejected after fighting.
The Thunder is 4 point favorites in the NBA odds for Thursday night, and the game total is at 212.5.
According to the NBA betting trends, the last four games in the series at any building ended over the game total. The Clippers represent the best scoring team in the league, and OKC is the 10th best.
