NBA Playoffs Bulls vs Nets Game 7

The Chicago Bulls suffered from an unexpected flu symptom that kept most of their team injured for game six; the Nets took advantage and now we are set for a first round game 7 at Barclays Center, this Saturday at 8 PM ET.

Bulls vs Nets“We just believed,” Joe Johnson said. “We believed in one another. In practice (Wednesday), we went over a lot. More so than anything, it was about who wanted it badder.”

“There is not a team in the league that plays harder than them,” PJ Carlesimo said about the Bulls. “We could have made it easier on ourselves and given us more of a cushion if we made some layups and free throws late in the game.”

Chicago missed Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich; both have viral meningitis that kept them away from the game.

“He was in the facility in the morning and got treatment,” coach Tom Thibodeau said Deng specifically. “Came in this evening and got more treatment. I didn’t find out until about an hour, hour and a half before the game.”

“It’s unusual, but it’s all around right now,” Thibodeau said of the illnesses. “Everyone’s feeling a little under the weather. You just deal with it.”

Game 7 has the Nets as 6.5 favorites to win and advance, and the game total is set at 183.

The Bulls have been better in the series, and I would take them with the points, but I need to be sure Deng and Hinrich will be on the floor.
