After their getting their butt kicked in game two, the Golden State Warriors look bounce back at home when they host the Los Angeles Clippers in the third game of the NBA playoffs first round, this Thursday at 10:30 PM ET, at the Oracle Arena.
The Warriors were outplayed 138-98 by the Clippers in game two; it was humiliating but it was just one game, now things go to Golden State where they might have the upper hand.
“It’s going to be a great environment,” coach Mark Jackson said. “But with that being said, they won’t get a stop, they won’t get a score, they won’t make a free throw. We’ve got to do our part.”
“It’s going to be loud. It’s going to be exciting. I think every basketball player loves playing in an environment like that,” Clippers Blake Griffin said. “We’ve played in places that are pretty loud before, especially in the playoffs. I’ve heard good things about the crowd and we’re looking forward to it. Absolutely.”
The Warriors were 24-17 at home this season; they have beaten the Clippers twice this season at the Oracle Arena, and havenβt lost there in the past five in the series.Β Despite those numbers, Los Angeles is a 1.5 point favorite for game 3 in the NBA playoffs lines.
The Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS loss, and Clippers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 playoffs games.
