The Greek Streak
The Bucks picked up their 10th straight victory on Friday night, defeating the Clippers 119-106. Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 37.6 points, 14 rebounds and 5.4 assists during the winning streak. Sitting just behind Luka Doncic and Joel Embiid in the NBA scoring race with 32.4 points per game, The Greek Freak was named the East’s All-Star captain for the third-time in his career as the conference’s top vote getter.
Averaging 30.5 points per game, Jayson Tatum will be alongside Giannis in the starting lineup. The 24-year-old was held to just 16 points in a 119-109 win over Grizzlies on Super Bowl Sunday. However, the Celtics superstar scored 41 points against Charlotte in his previous outing.

Boston banged up
Boston will be missing point guard Marcus Smart (ankle injury) and shooting guard Jaylen Brown (facial fracture) on Tuesday night. Even without their starting back court, Joe Mazzulla’s club has won six of seven games. That’s in large part to Derrick White, who had 33 points, 10 assists and 3 blocks versus the Hornets on Friday.
Still, the Celtics will be hard pressed to defeat Milwaukee on the road without Tatum and Brown on the court together. The duo combined for 70 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists in a 139-118 blowout home victory over the Bucks on Christmas Day.
Milwaukee vs Boston
Milwaukee is favored on Tuesday night. That makes sense given they’re at home and their opponents are banged up. However, Mike Budenholzer’s team is not at full-strength either. Khris Middleton has missed 40 games with a knee injury. And newly acquired Jae Crowder will play sparingly if at all. The rugged forward is out of shape after not suiting up all season for the Suns. He was traded to Brooklyn as part of the Kevin Durant deal. The Bucks then gave up five second-round picks to acquire him at the deadline.
While we’ll be treated to a Tatum vs Giannis showdown on Tuesday, we’ll have to wait for the Eastern Conference Finals to see these teams at full strength.

Best Bets
With the exodus of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to the Western Conference, one of these franchises will almost certainly be in the NBA Finals. Boston hopes to make a return visit after losing to the Warriors last year. And Milwaukee is looking for their second championship in three seasons.
Take Giannis and the Bucks at home against the Celtics on Tuesday night. They’ll cover the spread and even their season series at one game a piece.
