NBA Saturday – Spurs at Warriors Odds

The best game of the weekend in the NBA has the San Antonio Spurs visiting the Golden State Warriors, this Saturday at the Oracle Arena at the 10:30 PM ET.

spurs_warriorsWith 52 wins and 16 losses the Spurs have the best record in the NBA, and they have been playing as an unstoppable force over the last few weeks. The last time San Antonio loss was on February 21st; they will put a 12 game winning streak on the line at the Oracle Arena.

Their last victory 99-79 over the Sacramento Kings was the first time over the 12 games winning streak they won without reaching 100 points on the night.

“It’s a great reminder that we can win with defense,” said point guard Tony Parker. “It was not pretty. We were not shooting well. But sometimes you need to win those kind of games. We know in the playoffs, sometimes the ball doesn’t go in.”

The Warriors have won eight of their last 10 games, including two in a row; they failed to beat the Clippers and the Cavaliers in that 10 game stretch.

“You can take it for granted. There’s people that’s 19 years old that’s never seen this. That’s a wow moment,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said about his team being 18 games over .500. “It’s an incredible accomplishment, and we’ve still got a ways to go. But we’re going to park and enjoy it, take a deep breath, appreciate it and then continue to chase down our ultimate goals.”

Golden State is a 2.5 point favorite over San Antonio this Saturday.
