The Charlotte Hornets had a shaky start to the month of November. The team is now on an 8-2 run and coming off a 146-143 overtime loss to the Houston Rockets.
The Chicago Bulls are going through an up-and-down period. After opening the season on a 10-4 run, the Bulls have gone 3-4 in their past seven games. Chicago is coming off a 107-104 loss to the Miami Heat.

DeMar DeRozan is the Bulls top scorer. DeRozan, who averages 25.8 points per game, ranks seventh in the NBA in points per game this season. The Bulls also have the No. 9 ranked scorer in the league in Zach LaVine, who is averaging 25.3 points per game. Chicago (13-8) is first in the Central Division and the team has a home record of 6-4.
The total has gone under in seven of Charlotte’s past 10 games.
Charlotte is 6-3 in their past nine games against the spread in Chicago.
The total has gone over in 12 of Chicago’s past 16 games vs. Charlotte.
The total has gone under in 13 of Chicago’s past 18 home games.
The Hornets have averaged 127.3 points per game in their last three outings and numbers like that are hard to ignore. Chicago has been good as well in their past three scoring efforts with an average of 113.3, but I think Charlotte is the hotter team right now.
Pick Charlotte to win.
Now, with the way these teams have been playing offense and the way that their defense has been a little lax in recent games as well, I think this will be a high-scoring affair and that a bet on the over is the way to go.
Bet the over.
