There is no bigger scenario in basketball that a game 7 in the NBA Finals. Winner takes it all. The Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs will have one more battle this Thursday night at 9 PM ET, to see who the NBA Champion is.

“We’ve  seen the championship board already out there, the yellow tape. And you know, that’s why you play the game to the final buzzer,” Lebron James said about winning 103-100 in overtime in game 6. “And that’s what we did tonight. We gave it everything that we had and more.”

San Antonio needs to rebuild after this loss; it’s not an easy thing to do and perhaps they won’t make it.

“It’s a tough moment. We were a few seconds away from winning the championship, and we let it go,” Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili said. “A couple rebounds we didn’t catch, a tough 3 by Ray and a couple missed free throws. It’s a very tough moment.”

The Miami Heat is 6 point favorites over the San Antonio Spurs for game 7; the money line has Heat -270 and Spurs +230, and the game total is set at 189.5.

No home team ever won Game 6 and then lost Game 7.

Coach Popovich is not worried about the intensity on his team coming off a loss and into game 7. He was asked “how do you get your guys into Game 7?”

“I get them on the bus, and it arrives at the ramp over here. We get off the bus; we go on the court, and we play. That’s how we get ready”, said Pop.
