NCAA Basketball Betting -Iowa at Indiana

The 20th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes will try to remain on top of their game as they visit the Indiana Hoosiers this Thursday at Assembly Hall, at 9 PM ET, in the best Big Ten matchup of the night.

iowa_indianaIowa is 19-8 in the season averaging 83.5 points per game, but six of their eight losses were against Big Ten opponents. The Hawkeyes have lost two in a row, and they know is time to bounce back.

“We can blame our defense if we want to, but at some point you have to respect your opponent and say, ‘You know what? Richard had a good game plan. They executed it. They moved it. They got open, and they made the shots. More power to ’em,'” Iowa coach Fran McCaffrey said.

Indiana lost against Wisconsin on Tuesday; they are 15-12 in the season and have dropped four of their last five games.

“It’s a 40-minute game, and there’s other teams around the country that lose some leads, too,” coach Tom Crean said. “Unfortunately we’ve lost a couple of those, but the other teams are pretty good. That’s one of the reasons when you are at home, and they have the guys that can shoot the ball that way, it becomes an issue.”

Iowa is a four point favorite in the NCAA Basketball odds despite they are the visitors; Indiana is 3-8 ATS in its last 11 games when playing at home against Iowa.
