The four strongest sides in the playoffs will compete on Friday for the right to play in Sunday’s National Championship match.
First, the South Carolina Gamecocks will face the Texas Longhorns. In the second match, the UConn Huskies will face the UCLA Bruins.

2025 Women’s NCAA Tournament Winner Betting
Despite being the only team in the Final Four without a No.1 seeding, the UConn Huskies are the betting favorite in the latest NCAA basketball odds to win the 2025 championship.
In fact, the Huskies aren’t just the favorites, they are the odds-on favorites to win their first championship since 2016. UConn is -160 with the best college basketball betting sites.

On to the Final Four matches, and first up we are looking at the South Carolina Gamecocks against the Texas Longhorns.

South Carolina has been slated as a 4.5-point betting favorites. The Gamecocks are the defending national champions.
They punched their ticket for a place in the Final Four with a hard-fought 54-50 win over Duke in the Birmingham 1 Regional final.
Texas booked their place in the Final Four for the first time since 2003 with a comfortable 58-47 win over TCU. Madison Booker was the star performer with 18 points.
South Carolina failed to cover a 7.5-point spread in their win over Duke. If there is to be an upset, it is likely to come in this match.
We do see South Carolina winning, but it will probably be close. So, we are backing Texas to win with the 4.5-point spread. This pick also covers a potential upset.
UCLA vs. UConn
Next up is the UCLA Bruins against the tournament favorites, the UConn Huskies.

UConn is making a record 24th appearance in the Final Four. As you can see in the latest Final Four odds, the Huskies are far shorter in the betting than the Gamecocks are in the first match.
We can see the experience of UConn helping them to a comfortable win over the Bruins. A spread of 8.5 is maybe a touch high, but there are more reasons to back UConn to cover than not.

The Gamecocks opened the betting to win the National Championship as the +150 favorites. They are now +260, with the UConn Huskies the odds-on favorites to win the championship.
Paige Bueckers is a huge part of the reason the Huskies are so strong. She has been outstanding this season, and if this is to be her last season in Connecticut, she will be determined to end it with a National Championship win.
We really can’t see any shocks with UConn. However, we aren’t as confident that South Carolina will take their place in the final.
Even if the Gamecocks get past the Longhorns, we still see the UConn Huskies winning the NCAA National Championship.
