Peach Bowl Odds:
Michigan State Spartans vs. Pittsburgh Panthers
The thing to pay attention to in this game is the passing of the Panthers vs. the defense of the Spartans. Jordan Addison, had a great receiving year for Pittsburgh. A sophomore, Addison had 93 catches for 1,479 yards and 18 total touchdowns. Expect Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett to focus on getting the ball to Addison.

Pittsburgh’s passing, which ranked No. 6 in the NCAA, could give the Michigan State defense fits. The Spartans struggled all season on defense. The team gave up an average of 337.7 yards per game, which is the worst of any FBS team. When you consider the Pittsburgh offense averages more than 500 yards per game and 43 points per game, things do not look good for Michigan State.
Michigan State will have to hope running back Kenneth Walker III will be able to make up for the lack of defense. Walker rushed for 1,646 yards and had 18 touchdowns this year. That might be a problem with Pittsburgh having a solid rushing defense.

As good as Michigan State is, this game looks like it’s going to be very difficult for them to win.
Peach Bowl Best Bets
A strong passing offense against a struggling defense? A good rushing defense against a team that is going to try to run the ball as much as possible? Pittsburgh has more weapons than Michigan State and with that, I think the Panthers win.
Pick Pittsburgh to win.
With the team’s potent offense, the fewest points they scored in a game this season was 27 (and Pickett threw for 302 yards in that contest), I think the Panthers will cover the spread in this one.
Pick Pittsburgh to cover.
