Ole Miss biggest challenge will be stopping Alabama’s offense, which has improved a lot since offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin arrived at campus. The Crimson Tide averages 42 points per game and has in WR Amani Cooper, one of the best playmakers in the nation.
“Having the kids they have makes their schemes even better,” Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said. “I know coach Saban is getting out of his kids what he wants to, and they, under Lane, have changed a bit offensively that has made them more difficult to defend.”
Alabama has won the last ten games in the series against Ole Miss, but the Rebels feel like this the year they can take a win to their side.
“Guys have got to embrace this any way we can,” Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche said. “We’ve got to be focused in practice and do what we’ve been doing every week. If we execute and do what we should, we’ll be good.”
