The Arizona Wildcats look to stay as one of the best teams in the country when they visit the Arizona State Sun Devils, this Friday at 9 PM ET at Well Fargo Arena Tempe.
Arizona is 23-1 this season; their only loss came against California Golden Bears two weeks ago. The Wildcats are 14-6 against the spread; they recently covered a 16 point spread by beating Oregon State 76-54.
“We played well tonight,” Wildcats Junior Guard T.J. McConnell said. “We were clicking on offense, and I felt like we were playing well on defense. It was a team effort on Nelson, and we did a great job on him”.
Arizona State is 18-6 straight up and 11-11 against the spread; the Sun Devils beat the Oregon 74-72 in their last outing, but it came with some problems as the Ducks coach said a student spit on him.
“I didn’t want any charges, just for him to be scared,” Oregon assistant coach Brian Fish told The Oregonian about the kid who committed the incident. “We all deserve second chances, he’s a college kid. But that was completely uncalled for.”
