β[I’m] really looking forward to the opportunity,β head coach Mark Dantonio said on Monday. β[We had a] great football game last year [with] a lot riding on the game.Β Really one of the reasons you probably comeβ¦[to] a place like Michigan State and play in a conference like this is to have these type of games.β
βThis year heβs more experienced,β Dantonio said of Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong. βThatβs his only loss that heβs had on him since heβs been a starting quarterback was last year. And Iβm sure he wants some of those plays back.β
Nebraska is 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread, and they have won and covered the spread in five of the last six meetings against Michigan State.
For this matchup, the College Football betting odds listed the Spartans as favorites by seven points, and the game total is at 58 points.
