These two teams are two of the three undefeated teams remaining in the Pac- 12, the other is UCLA, but it will be payback matchup for the Ducks after they were stunned by the Wildcats last season 42-16 on November.
“Some people use it as a motivating factor,” Duck QB Marcus Mariota said of last year’s outcome. “For us it’s just another game.”
The Ducks main concern, however, is their defense, which allows 443.5 yards per game.
“We just need to start controlling the pass game better, and start really sticking on these routes — not letting them get these easy throws,” safety Reggie Daniels told the school’s official website. “The teams we’re playing now have some of the same schemes – they like to get the ball out quick, do a lot of pass routes.”
Arizona will be looking to be 5-0 for the first time since 1998, and they will try to do it by passing the ball, where they are 8th best in the league averaging 365.8 yards per game.
“I think this game showed that no matter how far behind we are, we have the maturity to pick ourselves up and learn from mistakes during the game so we can make big plays and come back to get the win,” Wildcats RB Austin Hill told the school’s official website.
Oregon is a 23.5 point favorite for this game, and the total is at 79. Arizona is 1-7 SU in its last eight games when playing on the road against Oregon.
