The Baylor Bears look to stay undefeated as they take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys this Saturday at 8 PM ET at Boone Pickens Stadium, in the best game of the NCAAF week 13.
The Bears beat Texas Tech Red Raiders last week and improved to 9-0 while getting to the fourth ranked spot in the BCS standings.
“It doesn’t matter whatever team that Oklahoma State was playing this week or Baylor was playing this week,” Baylor coach Art Briles said Monday. “It was going to be a big game because of what they’ve done up through the season and what we’ve done up through this season. It just happens to be we’re playing.”
Baylor is the best team in NCAAF in total yards with a smashing 684.8 per game.
“It’s huge. That mentality trickles down to us. You can’t make any game bigger than any of the others,” Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty said. “You have to treat each game as it’s a one-game season as it’s just a normal day. So that kind of confidence is what makes us play at such a high level.”
Baylor is 10 points favorite over the Cowboys despite playing on the road; the game total was set at 78 points. Oklahoma State is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Baylor, and the Bears are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games when playing the Cowboys.
