The Wolverines of Michigan have had a difficult few weeks. First, Michigan played against their arch-nemesis the Buckeyes of Ohio State to close out the season. Ohio State was able to be dominant in that match, beating Michigan on their home field. Then, their coach was fired, but there’s a Michigan betting favorite for a new coach with Sherrone Moore gone.

Moore was fired after the University conducted an investigation and it was determined that he had a relationship with a staff member. He was fired this week and fans have been calling for several candidates to get an interview. At the top of the list is head coach Kenny Dillingham, who is with the Sun Devils of Arizona State.
According to the best sports betting sites, Dillingham holds +200 NCAAF betting odds to be named the new head coach at Michigan. It will be interesting to see if he’s given an interview soon or not, but over the weekend, he gave a passionate speech on why he loves Arizona State. Reports have come in too stating he’s close to getting a new contact.

Michigan fans want Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham to replace Sherrone Moore
“I think that’s cool, I guess,” Dillingham told reporters. “I mean that’s one of the best programs in the country, one of the best logos in the country, I think everybody can agree there,” he said. “It’s one of the best jobs in the country. That doesn’t change how I feel about here. That doesn’t change that my sister is my next-door neighbor. That doesn’t change that my parents live three doors down.”
It’s unknown if Dillingham is going to be interviewed, but should Michigan extend an offer his way, it seems like it’s going to be a tough decision for him. With that said, Dillingham isn’t the only coach that appears to be high on the list for the Wolverines.
Eli Drinkwitz is a new name for people to pay attention to, as he’s the coach of the Tigers of Missouri. Kalen DeBoer is with Alabama and he’s getting ready for the start of the College Football Playoff, but his name has been mentioned quite a bit in this search too. University of Washington head coach Jedd Fisch is also someone that’s being considered.
There are loads of unknowns there, but Michigan is hoping to finalize a decision by the end of next week. Will it be Dillingham or DeBoer? What about Fisch or Drinkwitz? No one knows, but a decision from the University of Michigan should be coming in sooner rather than later and it’s a call that plenty of people are waiting on.
