Highest Win Totals
Alabama is priced as a lock to exceed its 10.5-win total (-240). And even with that juice, you have to take the OVER on a program that has claimed six national titles since 2009 and is a +200 favorite to add to its trophy case this year. The Crimson Tide added a few fresh faces through the transfer portal, but this is largely the same team that lost to Georgia 33-18 in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Speaking of the Bulldogs, bettors expect them to exceed their 10.5 over (-210) as well. Having finally ended the school’s 41-year title drought, Kirby Smart’s must now replace five first-round picks on defense. Luckily, that’s never too difficult for a program like Georgia.

Ryan Day failed to win a Big Ten title last year for the first time in three seasons as the Buckeyes head coach, and the team lost two talented receivers, Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, to the NFL. Still, Ohio State should have no trouble hitting the over on 10.5 wins (-200) with Heisman Trophy favorite CJ Stroud (+275) throwing passes to Jaxon Smith-Njigba and TreVeyon Henderson running the rock.
Of all the big college programs with high win totals, Clemson is far and away the most likely to go UNDER 10.5 Wins (-130). DJ Uiagalelei was atrocious in his first year as starter and the Tigers had to replace coordinators on both sides of the ball.
Take the OVERs
With almost every starter back minus left tackle Ikem Ekwonu, NC State should easily exceed 8.5 wins (-190) and perhaps even end a 42-year ACC title drought this fall. Devin Leary led the Wolfpack to a 9-3 record in 2021 with a 35-5 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and his coach Dave Doeren believes he’s “the best quarterback in the country.” Even if that’s hyperbole, Leary is certainly the best QB in his conference.
It won’t take long for Lincoln Riley to build a winner in USC. After coaxing Sooners QB Caleb Williams, Oregon running back Travis Dye and Pittsburgh receiver Jordan Addison to sunny California through the transfer portal, the Trojans will be the class of the Pac-12 this year and for seasons to come. Take the OVER 9.5 (-130).
