2012 NFL Futures: Odds To Win The NFC West

The NFC West is considered one of the weakest divisions in all of the NFL, but with the 49ers as the big dog there, the zone actually receives a little limelight and respect.

2012 NFL Futures: Odds To Win The NFC WestSan Francisco 49ers -275: The Niners have a punch in the mouth scary defense with Patrick Willis leading the way, but what the team is most different about this season is there offense, because now quarterback Alex Smith will have playmakers Randy Moss and Mario Manningham to his disposal.

More than just the NFC west division, the 49ers seem to have all the tools to fight and win the national championship, as well.

Seattle Seahawks +400: the Seahawks will have a significant experiment this season to see if Matt Flynn is as good as everybody keeps saying he is.

Tight end Kellen Winslow II is now with the team after he was separated from the Bucs, but the most promising move this offseason was keeping running back Marshall Lynch, who recorded 1204 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.

Arizona Cardinals +600: The Cards more than fighting to win the division, will try to see if Kevin Kolb is on his second year, the quarterback they thought he’ll be when they gave him all that money last offseason.

Besides Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona doesn’t have another playmaker on offense; Early Doucet is the closest thing to a second good receiver. They will also hope Beanie Wells to improve as the running back reached the 1000 yards for the first time in his career.

St Louis Rams +800: The Rams know they are in a rebuilding process that involves the first year of coach Jeff Fisher. However, you can see he already made an impact in the franchise bringing ex Eagles WR Steve Smith and Ex-Titans CB Cortland Finnegan to the team.

The Rams might not have the power to fight for the division, but they will have a lot to say about the course of it.

He has a great track record when it comes to wagering on baseball – largely because he's more than willing to bet against the Mets. His career profits are impressive, but not quite as good as his handsome friend Frank Lorenzo. He wishes he hadn't let Frank write his profile.
