Las Vegas (-125) is the chalk pick to select Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 overall after averaging the fewest rushing yards (79.8) and lowest yards per carry (3.6) in the league in 2024. Everyone knows Pete Carroll loves to run the rock, but will new general manager John Spytek want to devote high draft capital to the position in a loaded running back class?

Other landing spots
Dallas (+1000) has a glaring hole at RB and Jerry Jones loves star power, although the Cowboys have a lot of needs on both sides of the ball and would likely need to move up for Jeanty. New Orleans (+1300) could be intrigued by the 5-foot-8, 211-pounder after Kellen Moore saw Saquon Barkley’s impact on his offense in Philadelphia last year.
Rumors surfaced over the weekend that the New York Jets (+1800) are considering trading away Breece Hall and selecting Jeanty at No. 7 overall. However, the best longshot may be the Jaguars (+2600). With new head coach Liam Coen surely eager to give Jacksonville’s offense a boost and support Trevor Lawrence, drafting the top talent on the board at No. 5 doesn’t seem too far fetched.

However, there’s a strong chance Sanders drops much further down the board. The over/under on his draft position is set at 8.5 with the juice towards the OVER (-200). New Orleans (+350) is a prime landing spot at No. 9 given Saints fans hate Derek Carr, and Pittsburgh (+650) could use Sanders if he slips all the way to #21.

Sanders doesn’t have the strongest arm, but he set the career FBS accuracy mark (71.8%) in his two years at Colorado. With Brock Purdy still unsigned could the San Francisco 49ers (+6500) shock the world and replace him with the fast-processing 23-year-old?
